People often say “怎么了 (zěnmele).”

I’ve never gone to a Mandarin language school. I learn Chinese by myself. I know “什么 (shénme)” means “what.” How can I say “what’s the matter” in Chinese?

Now I understand pronounciation of 空 in 空闲 时间 and 空 in 空瓶子 ara quite different.
Thanks.
fumi

lessons are very good.

pronounciation of 空 is very interesting.
Learning chinese is very difficult because pinging is quite foreign to me. Anyway,I enjoyed a test.
