Xiàn zài = Gāng gāng
现在=刚刚
👉 现在 = now, 刚刚 = just now. Small difference, but matters in real talk.
Yī huǐr = Děng huǐr
一会儿=等会儿
👉 Both mean “later,” but 一会儿 can mean “a short while,” 等会儿 means “wait a bit.”
Míng tiān = Míng rì
明天=明日
👉 Both mean “tomorrow,” 明日 sounds more formal.
Jiù = Cái
就=才
👉 Both connect to time, 就 = earlier than expected, 才 = later than expected.
