Jan. 4, 2010

庆祝 (qìngzhù) Celebration

The character “庆 (qìng)” means to celebrate and “祝 (zhù)” refers to wish

or pray to.

Example:

今年圣诞节的庆祝活动很盛大。

Jīnnián shèngdànjié de qìngzhù huódòng hěn shèngdà.

The celebration of Christmas this year is splendid.
