面熟 (miànshú) Look familiar (Intermediate)

面熟 (miànshú) Look familiar

The character “面 (miàn)” means face or surface and “熟 (shú)” means familiar.

Example:

Zhè xiǎo nánhái hǎo miànshú ya, hǎoxiàng zài nǎ’er jiànguò.
这小男孩好面熟呀,好像在哪儿见过。

The little boy looked so familiar. I seem to have seen him somewhere before. Got questions?

  1. Good blog! I reallydo love how it is easy on my eyes as well as the details are well written. I am wondering how I could be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which really should do the trick! Have a good day!
