大() is an adjective meaning big and its antonym is small which in Chinese is 小(xiǎo). So the correct answer for this test question is A. The choice 水(shuǐ) means water.

Examples:

xiǎo

Tāde fángzi hěn xiǎo.
他的     房子   很    小。

His house is small.

Shuǐlǐ yǒu yú.

上(shàng) and 下(xià) have the opposite meaning in the Chinese language . 上(shàng) is a verb meaning to “go to do something”.
