Learn Chinese through Cartoons, Movies and TV Programs (Teens)

This course is designed to help teens learn the Chinese language and culture through popular Chinese Cartoons, Movies and TV Programs. Both new and classic ones will be incorporated into this course. For instance, Lotus Lantern, Home with Kids, The Secret of the Magic Gourd, Pleasant Goat and Big Bad Wolf, and so on. Through practice in listening, speaking and reading with instructors, your children can improve all aspects of their Chinese language skills in this course.

Level 1

1. In this level, teens will learn and come to understand some basic but classic lines in the Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs.

2. Your children will also gain the ability to understand the explicit moral or meanings of the Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs.

3. This level will help give your children a basic understanding of Chinese culture.

Level 2

1. In this level, teens will continue to learn classic lines and more complicated dialogues in Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs.

2. In addition, your children will better understand the implied moral or meanings of Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs.

Level 3

1. Teens will learn to understand fairly complicated plots and the implied moral or meanings of the Chinese cartoons, movies and TV programs, and thus be capable of establishing a link with real life situations.
