Program Mission
eChineseLearning's Future Leader Program identifies and prepares talented and accomplished students from around the world for service to society and for their future professions. The most accomplished students will be awarded a scholarship for a Chinese language program for their academic excellence and leadership potential.
Program Awards
Applicants are considered for awards in three groups: Primary School, Middle School, and College/University/Graduate School. For each group, future leaders will be identified and scholarship will be granted by eChineseLearning. The scholarships are:
First Prize Scholarship: 1-Year One-on-One Chinese Language Program
Second Prize Scholarship: 6-Month One-on-One Chinese Language Program
Third Prize Scholarship: 3-Month One-on-One Chinese Language Program

Upon being awarded a scholarship by the Program Committee, the successful applicants may immediately commence lessons with eChineseLearning.
Admission Procedure
1. Students who wish to apply are required to complete the application form and email it to the eChineseLearning's Future
Leader Program Office (futureleaderprogram@echineselearning.com). Reference forms should be emailed directly by
referrers to the Future Leader Program Office. eChineseLearning requires an applicant to provide at least ONE letter of
reference.
2. The Program Committee at eChineseLearning will review all applications and select candidates for interviews. Applicants will
be evaluated by the criteria listed below:
• Passion for Chinese Language and Culture:
Have a passion for Chinese culture and Chinese language. During the interview, the student will be asked about China, its
culture, written language and spoken dialects, and its people.
• Outstanding Performance:
Have high academic standing as demonstrated by grades received in the past.
• Leadership Potential:
The applicant must provide evidence to demonstrate his or her leadership qualities and potential in school.
3. The Program Committee will interview the selected candidates via telephone.
4. Award winners from each quarter will be announced and contacted by eChineseLearning.
Any applicant who provides fraud information in his/her application form or any of the documents attached therein will be immediately disqualified.
