Xiǎoxiǎo shàonián, hěnshǎo fánnǎo.
小小       少年,      很少       烦恼。
The little boy has few worries.

Yǎn wàng sìzhōu, yángguāng zhào.
眼    望      四周, 阳光           照。
He looks around and finds the sun is shining.

Xiǎoxiǎo shàonián, hěnshǎo fánnǎo.
小小       少年,    很少        烦恼。
The little boy has few worries.

Dànyuàn yóngyuǎn zhèyàng hǎo.
但愿         永远         这样       好。
He hopes that it lasts forever.

Yìnián yinián, shíjiān fēipǎo.
一年    一年, 时间   飞跑。
Year by year, time flies by.

Xiǎoxiǎo shàonián, zhuǎnyǎn gāo.
小小        少年,     转眼        高。
The little boy becomes taller.

Suízhe niánsuì yóu xiǎo biàn dà,
随着    年岁      由  小    变   大,
As he grows older,

Tāde fánnǎo zēngjiā le.
他的  烦恼    增加    了。
His worries also increase.

Xiǎoxiǎo shàonián, hěnshǎo fánnǎo.
小小        少年,    很少        烦恼。
The little boy has few worries.

Wúyōuwúlǜ, lètáotáo.
无忧无虑,  乐陶陶。
He is carefree and cheerful.

Dàn yǒuyìtiān fēngbō tū qǐ,
但    有一天     风波    突 起,
But one day trouble suddenly comes,

Yōulǜ fánnǎo dōu lái le.
忧虑    烦恼    都  来  了。
And he gets anxious and worries.

Yìnián yinián, shíjiān fēipǎo.
一年    一年,时间  飞跑。
Year by year, time flies by.

小小        少年,     转眼        高。
The little boy has few worries.

Suízhe niánsuì yóu xiǎo biàn dà.
随着    年岁     由   小    变    大,
As he grows older,

Tāde fánnǎo zēngjiā le.
他的  烦恼    增加  了。
His worries also increase.
