眼不见心不烦 (yǎnbújiàn xīnbùfán) Out of Sight and Out of Mind (Advanced)

 

The character “眼 (yǎn)” means eyes. “不 (bù)” means not. “见 (jiàn)” means to see. “心 (xīn)” means heart. “不 (bù)” means not. “烦 (fán)” means upset.
Example:
A: Nǐ bú yuànyì jiàn tā ma? Hái zài shēng tā de  qì?  
    你 不   愿意    见  他 吗?还  在    生     他 的 气?

呆若木鸡 (dāiruòmùjī) Transfixed/Dumb as a wooden chicken   

The character "呆 (dāi)" means dull or stupid; "若 (ruò)" means like or as; "木 (mù)" refers to wood and "鸡 (jī)" refers to chicken.

Example:

那个男孩呆若木鸡地站着,吓得连气都不敢喘。  

 Nà gè nánhái dāiruòmùjī dì zhànzhe, xià dé lián qì dōu bùgǎn chuǎn.

That boy stood still, and was too terrified to breathe.
